Well, just had the busiest weekend of social delight. Friday we had DND's retirement bash at la Tasca in Bury St Edmunds. Not the greatest food but a good atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves, especially DND himself.
Saturday we went to London and saw A Round Heeled Woman at the Riverside in Hammersmith. Starring Sharon Gless of Cagney and Lacey fame it was a funny, emotional play and well worth the money and time spent. We even found ourselves sitting behind Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders!!!
Sunday, after the Silver Fox and the Platinum Bunny had taken our luggage home for us we went to the Doctor Who exhibition at the Cartoon Museum and then on to Longacre where we spent lots of money on clothes.
Great weekend!!!

A daily (not always) blog about my cycling and the world as it unfurls around me. I set myself a challenge to cycle 2000 miles during the year (mostly by cycling to work and back) and this is the record of how I achieve the aim and all the things that happen on the way!!!

Elisabeth Sladen passed away yesterday. I only found out this morning. It was a shock. I was only just joking with the great Andrew Jacobs about being the Doctor's assistant if he was the Doctor himself and then I read that one of the greatest assistants of all time has died. Sad, sad day.
