Back on the Lavenham route which formed part of our region's stage of the Tour of Britain. The most pleasing thing was the sharp incline as you head off Bull Lane towards Lavenham that comes straight afetr a double bend so you have no chance to sufficiently gear up. Climbed it without hitting lowest gear and less recovery time needed as well. The fact that it was lunchtime and I was beating the rain probably contributed but it was still rewarding...
